The shoulder cutout is engineered specifically for side sleepers, creating a recess that lets the arm rest naturally beneath the pillow without compressing the shoulder joint. This keeps the head and neck in direct alignment with the spine all night.

Without the cutout, side sleepers prop the shoulder against a flat surface and build tension through the night. This model eliminates that contact point so the body fully relaxes into position.

Four-Source Cooling for Hot Side Sleepers

Side sleepers generate more concentrated contact heat than back sleepers because one side of the face and neck stays pressed against the pillow all night. 

This model pulls heat away from the head, face, and neck through four sources: OmniPhase® phase change material, activated carbon infusion, ventilated foam channels, and a humidity-controlling TENCEL™ mesh cover.

OmniPhase® and Carbon Infusion Working Together

OmniPhase® phase change molecules coat the pillow surface and continuously absorb and release heat based on the body's temperature. Activated carbon infused in the foam then creates molecular pathways that filter residual heat away from the head, face, and neck before it can build up.

These two technologies work in sequence, not independently. OmniPhase® captures heat at the surface, and the carbon pathways disperse it deeper into the foam and outward.
