BEDGEAR Collection

About BEDGEAR at Cloudy

BEDGEAR is the world's only performance sleep brand, engineering sleep products that prioritize athletic performance and recovery over traditional comfort or luxury. BEDGEAR was founded in 2009 by Eugene Alletto, a mattress industry veteran.

BEDGEAR partners with professional sports teams and athletes to make pillows and mattresses designed around body temperature regulation and moisture-wicking fabrics. Their full lineup covers BEDGEAR Balance Cuddle Curve pillows, BEDGEAR Dri-Tec performance mattress protectors, BEDGEAR moisture-wicking sheets, and BEDGEAR crib and kids sleep accessories.

At Cloudy, our BEDGEAR collection brings together every product category in the BEDGEAR range, from Ver-Tex sheet sets to iProtect and Stretchwick mattress protectors, Hyper-Linen and Hyper-Silk sleep masks, and BEDGEAR crib and kids bedding products.

What Makes BEDGEAR Different

BEDGEAR products stand out from their competitors due to:

Ver-Tex Instant Cooling Technology

BEDGEAR's Night Ice pillow uses Ver-Tex cooling technology for an instant cool-to-the-touch sensation, addressing the common problem of pillows warming quickly during use. Ver-Tex is engineered to respond the moment skin touches the fabric surface.

Dri-Tec Moisture-Wicking Fabric

Dri-Tec fabric appears across BEDGEAR's sheet sets and mattress protectors, pulling moisture away from the body for all-night cooling comfort. This targets humidity and sweat rather than heat directly. Sleepers who experience night sweats can benefit from this fabric technology regardless of the ambient room temperature.

Performance-First Product Philosophy

BEDGEAR engineers its products more like performance sportswear than traditional bedding, using Ver-Tex cooling and Air-X ventilation in Air-X performance and crib mattresses. They build specific products rather than scaling a single generic design across every use case, which makes them appealing to athletes or highly active individuals.

Depth of Pillow Specialization

BEDGEAR breaks its lineup down by specific sleep position and need, including the Balance Cuddle Curve for side sleepers, the Level for adjustable loft, and the Cosmo for dual-chamber customization. This depth allows sleepers to select a pillow based on shoulder clearance, adjustable height, or portability, rather than settling for a generic product that only partially meets their needs.

What's In The Cloudy BEDGEAR Range

Here are all the products included in the Cloudy Malouf collection:

Who It's For

Choosing the right BEDGEAR product depends on the specific performance issue a sleeper is trying to solve:

Hot Sleepers Wanting Instant Relief

Sleepers who notice a pillow warm up within the first few minutes of use should choose the Night Ice Performance Pillow, built specifically around Ver-Tex instant-cooling technology.

Side Sleepers Needing Shoulder Clearance

Sleepers who experience shoulder pressure while lying on their side should opt for the Balance Cuddle Curve Performance Pillow, which is designed to accommodate this sleep position.

Sleepers Wanting Adjustable Firmness or Loft

Sleepers unsure of their ideal pillow height should choose the Level Performance Pillow or Cosmo Performance Pillow, both built around adjustability rather than a fixed loft.

Travelers

Frequent travelers who want consistent pillow comfort away from home can opt for the Storm Performance Travel Pillow, a compact version of the brand's core performance pillow.

Parents of Young Children

Parents looking for age-appropriate pillow support should consider the Astro Kids Pillow, sized specifically for children rather than adapted from an adult model.
