Crib Mattress Protectors

About Our Crib Mattress Protectors Collection

Just like a crib mattress, a crib mattress protector is a practical purchase parents make. A crib mattress protector prevents the mattress from stains and everyday wear and tear. A regular crib mattress cover may contain PVC and may have harmful materials in its construction. The right crib mattress protector should be as thoughtfully engineered as the mattress it covers.

At Cloudy, our crib mattress protector collection features products from BEDGEAR, including the Air-X, Dri-Tec, and Ver-Tex Crib Mattress Protectors. All these products are waterproof, built with BEDGEAR's performance sleep technologies, and are made of hypoallergenic, vinyl- and PVC-free materials.

What Makes a Great Crib Mattress Protector?

If you are searching for a crib mattress protector, here is what you should look for while buying one:

Vinyl and PVC-Free Construction

Pediatric safety standards suggest that crib mattress protectors should not use PVC or vinyl backing. This is because these materials can off-gas and are not appropriate for the infant's sleep environment. BEDGEAR's crib protectors feature a vinyl- and PVC-free waterproof membrane to create a safe sleep environment.

Silent Waterproof Membrane

Most waterproof mattress protectors have a common complaint: they make noise when the baby moves.  BEDGEAR's silent waterproof membrane provides full waterproof protection with a noiseless construction.

Hypoallergenic Bamboo Fabric

BEDGEAR's crib protector covers use hypoallergenic bamboo fabric, a naturally soft, breathable material that does not harbor allergens or dust mites. The fabric is gentle on the skin and doesn’t react with the skin.

Deep Pocket Construction

All BEDGEAR crib mattress protectors are designed to fit standard crib mattresses (28" × 52") and feature a deep-pocket construction.

Who It's For

Cloudy crib mattress protectors are for the following:

Parents of Newborns and Infants

A crib mattress protector is essential for protecting toddler and infant crib mattresses. This prevents inevitable spills and accidents of early infancy without noise disruption.

Parents With Family Allergy Histories

BEDGEAR's hypoallergenic bamboo fabric covers and dust-mite barrier construction make their crib protectors a strong choice for families with a history of allergies.

Hot Sleeping Infants

The Ver-Tex Crib Mattress Protector has a cool-to-the-touch surface for temperature regulation. This is a practical benefit for infants who tend to sleep hot, maintaining a more comfortable temperature through the night.

Parents Using Breathable Crib Mattresses

For parents who have invested in a breathable crib mattress from Bundle of Dreams or BEDGEAR, the Air-X Crib Mattress Protector maintains that breathability through the protection layer.
