The lumbar support works and I can feel it helping but the range of adjustment is narrower than I expected. I'm 6'3 and the lumbar hits slightly lower than ideal for my frame. For average height sleepers it's probably perfect. Everything else - zero gravity pillow tilt massage memory button - is excellent. Just wish the lumbar had more range for taller people.

I've tried zero gravity on other bases and it helped. Zero gravity with active lumbar support is a completely different experience. The lumbar fills in the lower back curve that zero gravity alone leaves unsupported. I went from waking up twice a night from back pain to sleeping through completely. Worth every penny.
