The South Bay Copper Gel 12 Inch Mattress combines cooling copper-infused comfort with structured support across a generous 12-inch profile.Cloudy Mattress is the authorized South Bay retailer for this product, so every purchase is backed by trusted sourcing and the full manufacturer warranty.

The feel sits in the medium to medium-firm range of the comfort scale, making it accessible for back, side, and stomach sleepers alike. Because of this balanced support, it ranks among the best copper infused mattress for hot sleepers seeking both contouring and reliable lift.

Inside, four engineered foam layers work together, beginning with copper-infused viscoelastic foam that delivers cooling and antimicrobial benefits at the sleep surface. The copper-infused top layer naturally helps neutralize temperatures and dissipate odors, supporting a fresher and cooler sleep environment.

Furthermore, this high-thermal conductivity cooling technology draws heat away from the body, delivering temperature-regulated deep rest through the night. A dedicated memory foam comfort layer beneath helps minimize partner disturbance, giving you a quieter, more restful night.

The supportive transition foam and Air Grid base work together to deliver targeted spinal alignment support and restorative joint pressure relief across the body. At a full 12-inch profile height, the mattress is adjustable base compatible, making this an excellent 12 inch medium firm hybrid mattress alternative.

Additionally, it arrives via Mattress-in-a-box delivery, compressed and rolled for easy unboxing and setup at home. Backed by a 10-year limited warranty, and with Affirm financing available at checkout for added flexibility.

Key Mattress Benefits

Copper Gel Infused Medium Firm 12 inch Mattress By South Bay

5 Layers
Of Cooling
Comfort

This top layer is the copper-infused viscoelastic foam that delivers cooling and antimicrobial properties at the sleep surface. The copper helps neutralize temperatures and dissipate odors for a cleaner, fresher feel night after night.

This second layer contours to the body and helps minimize motion transfer between partners. As a result, sleepers benefit from quieter rest and consistent body cradling across the surface.

This middle layer acts as the transition between the soft top layers and the firmer base, balancing comfort with structural lift. It supports proper alignment while reducing residual motion through the mattress.

This bottom layer forms the high-density support foam core of the mattress and reinforces overall stability. Furthermore, the grid construction promotes airflow through the core, supporting cooling and breathability from below.

The exterior cover unzips for easy laundering and helps reduce allergens with regular washing. Its breathable design supports the copper-infused cooling system at the surface of the mattress.

Designed for deep comfort and better rest, so you wake up refreshed and ready for the day

Copper-infused mattresses offer two primary verified benefits. First, copper has natural antimicrobial properties that help neutralize temperatures and dissipate odors. Second, copper conducts heat away from the body, which supports temperature regulation and cooler, more comfortable sleep.

This mattress is designed with multi-layered foam that contours to the body while supporting proper spinal alignment. Many sleepers find this combination helpful for general comfort and back support. However, individuals with chronic or diagnosed back conditions should consult a medical professional before making a purchase decision.

A box spring is not required. The mattress can be placed on a continuously solid surface, an adjustable base, or slats spaced no more than two inches apart. Cloudy Mattress also offers an optional box spring with metal foundation as an add-on at checkout.

Copper is a naturally heat-conductive metal, so infusing it into the top memory foam layer helps draw warmth away from the body. This conductive effect supports cooler surface temperatures and a more breathable sleep experience.

Yes, all foams in this mattress are CertiPUR-US certified. They are made without formaldehyde, phthalates, ozone depleters, heavy metals, PBDEs, or listed Tris flame retardants, and they meet low-VOC standards for healthier indoor air quality.
