I'm 76 with arthritis in my hips, knees, and lower back. My mornings were becoming increasingly difficult because of joint stiffness from poor sleep positioning. The medium hybrid feel of this Beautyrest cushions my joints without letting me sink into a misaligned position. The 13-inch height also makes getting in and out of bed significantly easier. The motion isolation is good but not perfect. When my partner does a big position change — rolling over fully or getting up quickly — I feel it slightly. For normal small movements the isolation is excellent. If you share a bed with a very restless sleeper you may still notice some motion. Not a dealbreaker but worth knowing if motion isolation is your top priority.
