The ActiveAlign Reactive Copper 12 Inch Mattress is engineered specifically for active sleepers who need targeted, recovery-focused rest in a 12-inch profile with zoned support.

Cloudy Mattress is the authorized South Bay retailer for this product, so every purchase comes with trusted sourcing and the full manufacturer warranty. The feel sits in the medium range of the comfort scale, making it accessible for back, side, and stomach sleepers alike.

Because of this balanced support, it ranks among the best 12 inch copper mattress for side sleepers options for athletes and combination sleepers. Inside, multiple engineered foam layers work together, beginning with reactive foam at the surface that delivers a responsive, latex-like bounce-back feel.

Beneath that, copper-infused viscoelastic foam provides natural cooling and antimicrobial benefits, with concentrated cooling gel in the upper torso zone. This cooling copper memory foam mattress for back pain uses copper's heat conductivity to deliver thermal-conductive cooling comfort throughout the night. Furthermore, the antimicrobial sleep environment created by the copper-infused layer helps resist odors and microbes for fresher rest.

A key differentiator is the zoned transition support foam, with specialized sections engineered to provide different conformity levels across the body. This design delivers targeted hip and shoulder relief while keeping the spine in pressure-relieving spinal alignment through the night.

A M-Guard Patented Edge Support system reinforces the perimeter, adding roughly 20% more usable sleeping space and a steadier sitting edge. Beneath the comfort and zoned layers, the Air Grid base with articulated cuts promotes breathability and flexibility, especially with adjustable bases.

The construction also helps reduce motion isolation for couples, making this antimicrobial zoned memory foam mattress 12 inch option ideal for sharing the bed. At a full 12-inch profile, this 12 inch medium memory foam mattress is fully adjustable-base compatible and pairs seamlessly with modern foundations.

Additionally, it arrives via Mattress-in-a-box shipping, compressed and rolled for convenient delivery, and is backed by a 10-year manufacturer warranty.

Key Mattress Benefits

ActiveAlign Reactive Copper Zoned - Patented Edge Support Medium 12 inch Memory Foam Mattress By South Bay

6 Layers
Of Cooling
Comfort

This top layer uses reactive memory foam technology to deliver a latex-like bounce-back feel at the sleep surface. As a result, sleepers benefit from responsive support that adapts to movement without the deep sink-in of traditional memory foam.

This second layer is the copper-infused viscoelastic foam that delivers cooling and antimicrobial benefits. The upper torso section includes additional cooling gel for a more refreshing rest in the area where heat tends to build up most.

A reinforced perimeter is built into the mattress to extend the usable sleeping area by roughly 20%. This system also provides a stable sitting edge when getting in and out of bed.

This middle section is the zoned transition support foam that delivers different conformity levels across the body. Firmer support beneath the core and hips combines with softer cushioning at the shoulders and legs for ergonomic alignment.

This bottom layer forms the supportive base with articulated cuts that promote airflow through the core of the mattress. Furthermore, the grid construction adds flexibility, making the mattress an excellent match for adjustable bases.

The exterior cover unzips for easy laundering and helps reduce allergens with regular washing. Its breathable design complements the copper-infused cooling system at the surface of the mattress.

Designed for deep comfort and better rest, so you wake up refreshed and ready for the day

The ActiveAlign 12-inch is designed with zoned support and reactive foam that promote targeted spinal alignment, with firmer support beneath the core and softer cushioning at the shoulders. Many sleepers find this combination helpful for general comfort and back support, especially active individuals.

The zoned foam construction features specialized sections that provide different levels of conformity across the body. Firmer support beneath the hips and core helps stomach and back sleepers maintain alignment, while softer cushioning at the shoulders cradles side sleepers where pressure tends to build. This combination supports comfort across all sleep positions.

Yes, copper is a naturally heat-conductive metal, so infusing it into the memory foam layer helps draw warmth away from the body. This conductive effect is reinforced by additional cooling gel in the upper torso zone of this mattress, supporting cooler surface temperatures and a more breathable sleep experience.

Yes, all foam layers in this mattress are CertiPUR-US certified. They are made without formaldehyde, phthalates, ozone depleters, heavy metals, PBDEs, or listed Tris flame retardants, and they meet low-VOC standards for healthier indoor air quality.

The M-Guard patented edge support system reinforces the perimeter of the mattress with denser foam framing. This expands the usable sleeping surface by roughly 20%, provides a steadier sitting edge when getting in and out of bed, and helps extend the mattress's overall longevity by reducing edge wear.
