The South Bay Lavender 12 Inch Mattress is a substantial, firm-leaning sleep solution engineered to deliver lasting support across a generous 12-inch profile. Cloudy Mattress is the official South Bay retailer for this product, so every purchase is backed by trusted sourcing and the full manufacturer's warranty.

The feel sits on the medium-firm side of the comfort scale, making it an ideal firm 12-inch mattress for back sleepers, USA, and stomach sleepers alike. Because of this structured support, it earns recognition as one of the best firm mattresses for relaxation and sleep options for those who want stability and lift.

Inside, four engineered foam layers work together, with a firm yet conforming top layer that lets you feel reliable support throughout the entire build. The construction delivers targeted spinal alignment support, helping reduce sinking and maintain proper alignment through the night.

Furthermore, the breathable Air Grid base helps keep the mattress cool, supporting a deep restorative sleep environment for hot sleepers. A reinforced perimeter layer extends the usable sleep surface and provides a steadier feel along the edges of the bed.

The build also includes hypoallergenic and antimicrobial construction with a non-skid bottom fabric for added stability on any foundation. At a full South Bay Lavender 12 Inch Mattress profile, this design is an adjustable base compatible, making it versatile for any modern bedroom setup.

It also arrives via mattress-in-a-box shipping, compressed and rolled for easy delivery and setup at home. Backed by a 10-year limited warranty, and with Affirm financing available at checkout for added flexibility.

Key Mattress Benefits

Lavender Gel Infused Memory Foam Firm 12 inch Mattress By South Bay

5 Layers
Of Cooling
Comfort

This top layer delivers a firm yet conforming feel and forms the primary contact surface for the sleeper. Its breathable structure supports airflow from the very surface of the mattress.

This layer wraps the mattress perimeter to deliver enhanced stability and expand the usable sleeping area. As a result, sleepers feel steadier near the edges, whether sitting or lying down.

This middle layer acts as pressure-relieving reactive foam, smoothly transitioning between the firm top and the supportive base. It helps balance comfort and structural lift through the body of the mattress.

This bottom layer forms the high-density support foam core that gives the mattress its overall stability and structure. Furthermore, the grid construction promotes airflow through the core, supporting cooling and breathability from below.

The exterior cover unzips for easy laundering and helps reduce allergens with regular washing. Its hypoallergenic and antimicrobial construction supports a cleaner, fresher sleep surface, while a non-skid bottom fabric helps keep the mattress in place.

The Lavender 12-inch mattress is named for its model designation in South Bay's collection rather than a lavender fragrance infusion. The manufacturer's product page does not describe an active lavender scent

The Lavender is an all-foam mattress. It uses four engineered foam layers, including an Air Foam top, an edge support layer, a support foam transition, and an Air Grid base. It does not contain innerspring coils.

A 12-inch profile generally offers more substantial layered support than an 8-inch model, with deeper transitional and base layers that can help distribute weight more evenly. However, individual back conditions vary, so anyone with chronic or diagnosed back pain should consult a medical professional..

All foams in this mattress are CertiPUR-US certified and made without formaldehyde, phthalates, ozone depleters, heavy metals, or PBDEs. The foams also meet low-VOC standards for healthier indoor air quality.

Yes, the mattress is compressed and rolled for quick, small parcel delivery. After unboxing, it may take up to 72 hours to fully expand to its final shape, though you can sleep on it immediately.
