I purchased this set for my boyfriend who just bought a house filled with TEAL carpet. That's a pretty BOLD color for carpet, so I suggested getting bedding that was a neutral color--grey, beige, or white to "downplay" the color of the carpet. We are both very pleased. This is a really beautiful set that will make your bedroom look like an upscale Boutique Hotel Room! I made him purchase new sheet sets to go with it. Now I just have to convince him that those "fussy, little decorative pillows" that come with it are a good thing! LOL
