I'm obsessed with velvet! I love the velvet-covered, oversize buttons on this duvet. I would describe the color as a warm, pale sea foam green. It definitely has warm undertones. I'm sad I had to return it--I thought it was more of a blue color on my monitor. Note that it says dry clean only.
It came looking like the color in the picture! I was thrilled, because it was for a client. It was large enough to accommodate a very high loft, down comforter as well.
This Duvet is just yummie. The color is indeed a muted blue green and it is very soft. One side is velvet and the other is cotton so you do not have the double weight of a heavy fabric. It is also a true king size unlike many duvets that fall short of hanging down far enough on a king bed. It has a zipper closure and although it does not have the inner ties I have had no shifting or creeping. Just divine!For those concerned with "Dry Clean Only", I took the chance and washed this duvet using a 30 minute delicate cycle and hand wash (baby) laundry detergent. I put it in the dryer on medium setting (not hot) and it laundered perfectly without the expense of dry cleaning.
