The foundation itself is excellent - solid quiet and the removable cover is a nice finish. The assembly instructions are vague in places particularly around the cross-support attachment sequence. Took me about 90 minutes instead of the 30 advertised because I had to troubleshoot two steps. Once assembled it's perfect. South Bay should update the manual to match the quality of the product.

I can see the full metal frame when the cover is off for cleaning and the construction is genuinely solid. Form and function in equal measure.
